Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which ACS Sea Freight provides website access, quotation handling, operational support and related freight forwarding services.
They should be read alongside any written quotation, booking confirmation and applicable trading conditions issued by Advanced Cargo Systems Ltd.
1. Company Information
ACS Sea Freight is a trading style used by Advanced Cargo Systems Ltd for sea freight related services. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Advanced Cargo Systems Ltd, trading as ACS Sea Freight where applicable.
2. Website Use
The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. We make reasonable efforts to keep website content accurate and up to date, but freight services, routes, regulations and operational requirements may change without notice.
You must not misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
3. Quotations and Enquiries
Any quotation request submitted through this website is treated as an enquiry only. A quotation is not a confirmed booking unless we have issued written confirmation and the relevant booking details have been accepted.
Quotations are based on the shipment information provided at the time of enquiry. Changes to weights, dimensions, commodity, collection or delivery points, customs requirements, cargo readiness or carrier acceptance may affect price, routing and availability.
4. Shipment Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipment information, including cargo description, weights, dimensions, packing details, origin, destination, commodity codes, Incoterms, customs data and any regulatory or handling requirements.
Where dangerous goods, restricted goods, controlled commodities, oversized cargo or cargo requiring special handling are involved, this must be declared before quotation, booking or movement.
5. Customs, Duties and Regulatory Requirements
Customs clearance, duties, taxes, licences, permits and regulatory approvals remain subject to the requirements of the relevant authorities. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the importer, exporter or their appointed representative remains responsible for ensuring goods are compliant for import, export and carriage.
Delays caused by missing documentation, incorrect declarations, customs intervention, regulatory checks or third-party authority decisions are outside our direct control.
6. Carrier, Port and Vessel Acceptance
Sea freight shipments remain subject to carrier acceptance, sailing availability, port procedures, terminal handling requirements and any applicable freight, customs or regulatory controls.
Acceptance is not guaranteed until the shipment has been reviewed and accepted by the relevant carrier, shipping line, port, depot or handling agent.
7. Service Availability and Transit Times
Transit times, sailing schedules, routing options and collection or delivery timings are estimates only unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing. Services may be affected by vessel availability, port handling, customs processing, weather, congestion, operational disruption or other events outside our control.
8. Liability and Trading Conditions
Freight forwarding and logistics services are provided subject to our applicable trading conditions, including any standard trading conditions referenced in our quotation or booking confirmation.
Liability for loss, damage, delay or other claims may be limited under applicable trading conditions, international conventions, carrier terms or law.
